EARLY UPGRADE

I just wanted to post a suggestion hoping the right people will see it. I think Verizon could make more money by offering an early upgrade to those customers that have 1 year or less on their current contracts. Many customers who don't have a data plan like myself would upgrade to the iPhone and start paying for that package. They are losing revenue by not allowing me to upgrade early. Just a thought.

uuummm, there is already that option

at the 12 month point you can usually do an early upgrade, if your acces fee is high enough, usually 49.99 iirc

secondary lines on family share plans cannot do this

you take advantage of one option you lose others

and verizon should not make special exceptions

yeah, Verizon did away with that so anyone eligible and on a contract before Jan 16th of this year would have 1 more.

And here's an idea, give the people their early upgrades they're whining about for the 1 yr contract price and tack the remainder of the current contract term onto the new one. So if you're 1 yr into your contract, you upgrade and they end up having you for 2 years. To keep people from upgrading every month, set the maximum amount a contract can be extended to 3 so you don't have people with a 20 yr contract.
