How do you back up a phone on your plan. When the person/child won't give you the code off there phone? Is there anyway of backing up without having code sent to there phone, and I am account holder.
Each phone on your plan can have its own MyVerizon account, so you will need to set one up for the phone you want to back-up, and then you will need to get the pin off the phoen to finish the process.
My reccomendation? You own the phone as well as the plan, if you feel like it is appropriate for you to be making the decision for this person about using Backup Assistant, take the phone from them, establish a MyVerizon account for it, and then set up the program.
Unfortunately, it's not that easy. Is there any other way than getting code off of phone. Could Verizon store help me do this.
No, the code is sent to your phone as a security measure, and also because the program has to be installed on the phone itself by the user in order to work. You will need to have control of the phone, or be able to give instructions to the person who does in order for Backup Assistant to work.
