I run my business email through godaddy. I've checked extensively through godaddy on how to set up my mobile email, but the Octane has a few added options in the set up that my EnV3 didnt.
1st window is of course the add account option. I select "OTHER" and enter my email address and password
Then after it attempts to activate the account I get this notification "Settings for your mail server were not found. Please define your account details on the following screen."
Next Screen options are IMAP or POP
I select POP
Next window I enter my incoming mail server address and have the options to select one or both of
-Use SSL
-Use NTLM Authentication
Next window I enter my outgoing SMTP server and have options of one or both of
-Use SSL
-Requires SMTP Authentication
The process of setting up the account happens again after this and always fails (have I tried every possible combo of selections? not sure)
Essentially, I have no idea which of the options in the last 2 windows to select and can not find anything online to help me.
Has anyone had any experience with setting up a godaddy email account on their Octane or similar phone?
