Ann154 is correct. Preinstalled apps are on your cell phone forever. However, there are apps you can download which will hide them in your apps drawer. This, by the way, is an old horse which has been beaten to death.
You can't delete them, but you can hide them. Shortcuts on the home screen can be deleted, I believe, or at the very least moved to a remote home screen you seldom see. In Apps itself, you can create folders and move the apps into them, out of sight, out of mind. And there are a couple of games that can actually be uninstalled.
