Does anybody know how to retrieve a deleted message from voicemail?
Right now there is now way to retrieve the voicemail. There is timeframe in which you are still in the voicemail call to retrieve it, but once the call is ended the option for retrieval is expired. Going forward an alternative option would be to use a visual voicemail platform which allows you different archiving methods. You can find more info about that here. Thank You.
You cannot retrieve a deleted voicemail without a court order. They only stay in Verizon's system once deleted for a certain amount of days (I believe 5-10)
I have been trying to figure out how to post a message to get help here and the only way to do is by replying to someone elses comments? Verizon needs better instructions on how to actually get help if in fact they even care to help.
My issue is a voice mail message that must have come from a fax machine and just beeps for 33 secs. I am unable to erase this message and unable to retrieve my new msgs. I have done a cache force stop but nothing has helped.
Dollnys, thank you for your inquiry. Of course we are here to help! If you want to submit a new post, you will need to first choose the topic you want to post about. Then choose the big red box at the top right that says Enter New Message.
To delete a message from a fax machine, just press 77 before the message starts to play. This will fast forward to the end of the message so that pressing 7 the second time deletes the message. Another thing you can do is press "3" three or four times before the beeps start to play. This again fast forwards the message to the end. When it gets to the end, press 7 to delete the message.
