are pictures sent from verizon to verizon free?

& also, is it free to call someone with alltel since verizon and alltel merged?
Regarding your text/pix questions it all depends on your plan. If you're paying for unlimited texting then yes any txt/pix is all included. If you're paying $5/mo for text then VZW-VZW is not included/free. If you're paying $10,$15,$20 then VZW-VZW is free. On any package you're paying for pix will be included. If you notice it's not called a "text" plan..it's called a "messaging" plan. So it includes text/picture/video messages.
And yes, calling an Alltel # is considered "IN" the network.
