Backup assistant will not restore contacts on Samsung Convoy

My phone hates me. It randomly deletes phone numbers of my friends left and right. Then, today, it randomly deleted EVERY number I had. Fortunately, I have them all saved online with the backup assistant. But, I can't seem to bring them back. Syncing the phone doesn't work. When I go to the backup assistant, it doesn't give  the restore option described in the help section. All it lets me do is "backup" (pretty useless thing to backup zero numbers). Any Ideas?

With using Backup Assistance, you first need to make sure you have downloaded the application to your current phone and allow the system to backup the contacts on that phone. If you downloaded the application on an previous phone than the one your using, the application will not redownload your contacts. If you have downloaded the app to your current phone, you should have the ability to sync your contacts. 

 

Additionally, if you are able to view the contacts online you can retrieve them. I have listed the steps to download the Backup Assistance application to your phone. 

 

Back up Assistance through Media Center From the main screen, press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose Menu. Select Media Center or Get It Now then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose OK. Select Browse & Download or Tools on the Go then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose OK. Select Get New Applications then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose OK. Select Business / Tools then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose OK. If Backup Assistant is not found in Business / Tools, select Best Sellers. Select Backup Assistant then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose OK. Select FREE - Subscription then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose OK. Select Yes then press the center of the 5-way navigation pad to choose OK.
