what does this icon mean its a diamond with a + inside it and three curved lines on the right side of it???
It means you have GPS location turned on.

I just want to add that you will always see the icon with the diamond. When the curved lines are gone, GPS is off, but the diamond with a cross icon remains showing the phone is capable of E911. That just means that when you call 911, they are able to trace your location on the phone.
