STA Disassociated - Associated...repeatedly dropping wifi connection from SCH-LC11

My parent's HotSpot is driving me nuts. It's a Samsung SCH-LC11 and it drops the wifi connection repeatedly, making it difficult to surf the web or check email. They thought this was just how hot spots work, so they are past their time to return it. Now, I'm trying to fix it and I haven't seen any answers out there, just a lot of similar complaints. I'm hoping more detail with help us to find a solution, but as the Holiday weekend is almost over, I will be 200 miles away shortly.

Here's what I'm seeing... from multiple devices, laptops, desktops, my Droid, my iPod, my sibilings phones...the internet seems to being dropping out, and coming back about 15 seconds later... but watching the HotSpot, the Internet isn't dropping, just the wi-fi connection is. What is going on here? Why is it associating and disassociated a device? 

I have performed the firmware update from Samsung that I found elsewhere on the forums. This particlar log is from after that.

 

Anyone have a solution, or suggestions to decrease this? I can't tell you how often it happens since it is quickly filling the log, but I can tell you that it has happened to me at least a dozen times today just trying to research this and perform the update.

 

Any help or advice would be great. This is the first time in 12 years I have been disappointed in Verizon's service.

I can definitely understand your frustrations with the Samsung 4G LTE Mobile Hotspot SCH-LC11 constantly dropping the wifi connection!  Just to ensure I'm clear on what's going on, and to ensure I provide a correct solution for this issue, what have you noticed so far?  Does the device go into Idle or Standby mode?  Or does it show disconnected in the Wireless/Available Networks window on your computer?
