A friend recently told me he had heard that the 'Sumsung Gem' would work with the $.99 Daily Plans. I was curious about it, and i'd like to learn more. Can any of you guys verify this, or give me some more information?

It looks like the prepaid plans are only for feature phones (though I just took a quick look at Verizon.com and could have missed something). The only thing that pops up when googling "samsung gem prepaid" was for US Cellular. You may want to call Verizon customer service and see if they will activate it for you on a prepaid plan.

The Samsung Gem is a great device! It has great social networking capabilites and it delivers maximum multitasking speeds. The good news is that you can use the Samsung Gem on prepaid service.
