Problems after updating my droid x

Updated last night and whole lot of changes in look and style. When sending out a text to multiple people I would

choose favorite folder and just check multiple people I wanted to send message to, now it won't let me. I have to start

typing in names and then choose from list. Is anyone else had this problem? Phone seems to be lagging now.

Can I go back to earlier os like on a computer?

Please do a search on this forum, there are tons of posts about this.

The multiple recipients is not an "issue" - it's just a change. One of the many made with Gingerbread. You can still select multiple people to send to, just a different way.

Going back to a previous OS is a violation of this forum and cannot be discussed here. Do a search and you'll most likely find a fix for all of your issues.

This has been noticed and reported but is seems that this feature was removed from the OS and I am not sure that this was a mistake because of how the option works now. I think it was replaced with the configuration we have now.

Phone seems to be lagging now.
Can I go back to earlier os like on a computer?
There is no way to revert back to the previous OS?

Have you tried to send a photo to multiple people, not a lot of fun...I hate this phone now.

Well I don't use the stock texting app... I don't like the "skin" or whatever it's called. :smileyhappy:

I use Handcent SMS (which, by the way, is AMAZING!) and it still lets you have that + sign next to the contact entry, and you can still select the multiple contacts just like you used to with the stock messaging app. It's also free!

If you REALLY don't like Gingerbread.... Do a Google search [Edited to comply with Terms of Service] for Droid X :smileysurprised: Ok, I'm done talking about that now. Nothing to see here...

There are some features on Gingerbread that function differently now. Some work better and some that don't work as well or are not there in the new update. I ended up getting my phone replaced yesterday because of software issues and the replacement works much more as advertised.

Vereyezuhn, you like Handcent SMS? I tried GoSMS Pro and while I liked the interface and customization, I found that it slowed the phone down especially when rotating from portrait to landscape. I ended up uninstalling it. Using stock app now. I know what you mean, about the only Verizon employees on here are the ones who use big red letters, lol.
