I am not getting text messages...help please... I have done all. restart, shut off, remove battery, clean all message, email...went to verizon and they were no help. want me to buy a new phone

I can certainly understand what an inconvenience it must be not to receive your text messages. How long has this been going on? Are you able to send text messages? Are you not able to receive texts from only certain contacts or this happening with everyone? If you haven't already I recommend power cycling your device. Please check your current software build by going to Settings> About Phone> Software Information> Software Number. If your software version is not 4.08.605.2 please update to most current software. If the current software is already installed on your device and you're still experiencing difficulties let us know so we can further assist.
