I really do understand where you are coming from but a number of your issues ciuld be software related, have you by chance tried a hard reset?
Yea, I have to agree with Wildman. If you REALLY are having a rash of issues after getting GB, it would be worth your while to just bite the bullet and run teh Factory Reset procedure - do NOT automatically reinstall your APPS after the FR though. Start slow. Make sure the phone functions properly immediately after the FR. Then and only then reinstall your 3rd party apps - a few at a time and only the "must haves" for the time being. If you take this to the Verizon store or call tech Support, they will likely do this anyway in an attempt to address your issues.
PS - if you decide to do this, I would strongly suggest that you make a list of all your apps you installed - or use a "back up" manager APP. Make sure you read up on the proper way to do the FR and the impact on what happens with your phone.. I guess what I'm saying is don't just click on Factory Reset and hope for the best.

.. and good luck ... oh, and Welcome to the forum ..
Yes, a FR will wipe your phone - if you tell it to Format/Wipe your SD Card during the process ... which I would suggest you do. If you have pics or other things on there, you should copy them off first before doing the Reset procedure.
PS - you *COULD* try doing the more benign CLEAR SYSTEM CACHE procedure first - just to see if it makes any difference to your problems. This procedure does not wipe out the apps or the data on your phone. But if this doesn't fix your issues, then FR is the final step.
Wiping cache partition- cures many ills and is better to start with this than a (gulp) full Factory Reset.
No - you won't have to repurchase. Android MARKET knows which ones you paid for... just re-download them.
PS - not sure about the D2 ....
MyBackup Pro can make backup and restore apps after reset painless...https://market.android.com/details?id=com.rerware.android.MyBackupPro&feature=search_result
Do not restore personal info from backup but MMS and SMS, all other personal settings can cause issues sometimes... But restoring all apps works well because you wont have to remember all apps installed...
Also remember that the apps bought will cshow in Market / Menu / Myapps.
FR is not always the answer though - I did an FR a week ago and it didn't do anything but create a few new problems. The problems are not always with apps so an FR shouldn't be given as the answer to fixing things, as I have found while it might fix one problem it does create others....it actually made my radio problem worse to the point of completely dropping 3G whereas before the FR it was only going down to 1X......just wish people would see that the problems most users are having are not a result of an app, but rather the OS is still hosed to the point of continuously causing problems both new and old
If you just got the phone and didn't do anything special, you have a "normal" and non-rooted phone..
I don't know but if I were you - lacking tech 'skills" - I would just take it to a Verizon store and let the technicians do the FR for you ... but that's just my opinion. After the FR, you will have a LOT of re-setting up stuff to do. Basically it will restore your phone to the base phone with GB on it. All of your login profiles will have to be redone. just a thought.
I would have to agree with Cody all the way Salley your best bet now is to have them at the store do a FR for you unless you'd wrather go the route of having Teck go thrue the Fr with you eather way this needs to done know i going to tell there still may be a few minor issues this happens with any OS build but for the most of it That FR will help a Bunch.

I was so confused in your other post about why your status bar was a different color than mine! The fact that you have a Droid 2 instead of a Droid X makes sense now

Power offPower On Holding Home KeyWhen Andy with Exlamation Point Shows up Press BOTH Volume keysUse Volume Keys to navigate to "wipe cache partition" and tap power button to selectWait for it to finish and select reboot system
You may want to try Codys suggestion before a reset and see if it helps because under some situations clearing cache works well..

The Droid X and the Droid 2 are like twins. Anything you can do with the Droid X you can do with the Droid 2. As far as the market goes, it's the same market for all the Droids, be it a Droid X or a Thunderbolt. Now, if you had an IPhone, they have a different market set-up.

FR fixes about 9 out of every 10 problems with android. it could be apps or software being corrupt. Also a lot of times people over look the sd card which can house corrupt data as well
