Incredible Screen

I woke up to a black screen with some funny colors running through it I can not see anything or use the phone at all. . My screen has been doing some strange things. I went to my local Verizon store and they said the screen is cracked. You can not see a crack? I did not drop it prior to it going black. Could this really be a cracked screen?? Verizon store said it was not covered under defect cause of the cracked screen??

Be sure you are going to a Corporate store and if you did, is there another one around to take the device to?

Try pulling the battery while the device is on, wait a minute, install the battery and power up and see if that fixes the issue

It was a corporate store. I have pulled the battery and done everything I can think of. I can try another store. I could understand if I could see a crack or if my screen was damaged. Right now at the bottom it has strange colors like it is trying to show my screen but the rest is just black!!

Stephiane How long have you had your Incredible ? My Incredible is coming up on being a year old it's done some Funny things over the Cource of a year but it's not Gone black as you said your's did.

An i'm asuming you have a Purse you pute your Incredible in as Most Ladies do. I can't see how they can say you cracked it. Now if you've pute in your back pocket an by Accident set on. There could be a slight chance you Twisted the frame just enough to Crack it but not enough for it to be visible. But as i said most ladies pute there phones in there Purses so being pute in there it should be safe. An i hope you can get something Resolved Good Luck B33 :smileyhappy:

I am having somewhat the same problem with my (not so) Incredible phone. I used it and it was working fine. Picked it up 30 minutes later and the lower half of my screen went black, with some weird color streaks through it. It was never wet, and screen is not cracked. Did not drop it or sit on it. Screen just weirded out. Makes it almost useless to me. Can't get any customer satisfaction through Verizon. Looking to switch carriers as soon as possible!
