Both Wifi and 4G icons up top.

My Stratosphere sometimes shows both my Wifi and 4G icons up top when I am at home connected to my Wifi. Is this normal? It does not happen all the time. Is there a setting that I am missing? It is not using my data, but it's a bit frustrating. Please help.

The Stratosphere is my favorite slider phone! As a matter of fact, I bought one for my mother in law for the holidays and she loves it also! It is not out of the ordinary for smartphones to show the wifi connection and 4G/3G signal strength. This is often dependent on how strong the wifi connection is with the wireless network. If you are connected to wifi successfully then wifi does takes precedence over 4G, thus not using your data package. My apologies if the icon is frustrating you but it is shown to advise the user that 4G is available.

Thanks Arnett!!! I appreciate it. It was only frustrating because I thought there was something wrong with my phone. Good to hear that it's a normal thing. My Wifi is a little weak sometimes with 3 smartphones and my PC connected to it at the same time. Makes sense. Thanks for taking the time to reply. And the Stratosphere is amazing!! My wife and I both have them. I would recommend it to anyone.
