Phone frozen after upgrade???

Hi, I was downloading some upgrade software on my phone, and the screen said do no unplug. I wanted the upgrade to stop, so I unplugged it, and now the screen seems to be frozen. I tried turning it off and it won't and I took out the battery and put it back in and it still shows the downloading screen. How do I fix this? I have the LG Cosmos 2

By unplugging the phone in the middle of the update, you likely corrupted the files or have only a partial update, which left your phone in an unusable state, otherwise known as a brick.  You'll probably have to take the phone to a store (corporate store) so they can complete the update, or roll back to the phone's previous state.  You can TRY plugging the phone back in and using the phone menu to get back to a usable state, or perhaps the download will pick up where it left off and complete.  My guess is that you will need to take it to a store.
