Data Usage Charges

I use a Palm Centro that I pay per megabyte usage charges on. I used less than 600 kilobytes last month and was charged over $8. I thought it was $1.99/megabyte???? Anyone know why this is?

On pda devices it is .002 dollars per kilobyte. Which why all new pda's are required min 29.99 data feature.

Are you able to provide a link to a Verizon page that clearly describes this? Many thanks!
