The Pantech Breakout is my first smartphone, and for a basic phone, it's done okay. But there are a couple really huge problems with it that are making it almost unusable.
First, it keeps missing texts. My friends and family (who are trying from multiple carriers) tell me at least three or four times each week that they've sent me a text that I'm not responding to. Checking their phones, the texts were definitely sent. I don't receive a text, I don't receive a notification or anything at all. It would be understandable to drop one or two in the lifetime of the phone, sure. But this has been happening at least twice a week now, and it has on more than on occasion cost me money because of a missed text, not to mention the missed connections with people at work who have expected me to do things that I was never made aware of because my phone, which should be reliable, doesn't pick up a simple text. How do we fix this?
