A couple of weird issues: Gallery, and phone ringtone ringing and nobody's calling

I have already spoken with tech support via phone earlier this evening, and they couldn't resolve...

A couple of days ago I heard my phone ringtone sounding, and nobody was calling. It kept ringing and I finally had to mute the sound. This seems to happen when I power the phone back on. Earlier tonight when I called tech support about this, we discovered quite by accident that my Gallery app has disappeared from the Apps list. We were at that point where we were going to do a factory reset, and the agent wanted to make sure all my pics and stuff were backed up.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? Do my issues make any sense at all?

I posted this on the 23rd, and I see that it has 30 views but no responses. Has anyone else had the experience of the phone ringtone sounding after powering up the phone? It is still going on :smileysad:

Yes, I did. My phone was less than 24 hours hold and I'd spent 3 hours on VZW support phone line and they could not figure it out. The level 3 tech support guy told me to return it for an exchange. I did, that was 3 weeks ago. No problems like that since....

The problem being it just kept ringing.

I haven't had the ringer issue but my Gallery app is gone...I have installed JustPictures from the market and suspect that...although it hasn't bothered me enough to remove it and test.
