Spotty 3g/4g

My 3g and 4g turns off a lot when the data connection is on and cdma/lte is on. I can turn on airplane mode and turn it back off and get 3g for just a little while. My mom has the droid bionic and she always has 4g right next to me when I don't have any signal. Most of the time I don't get signal. My phone is up to date and I can't figure out how to fix this. Can someone help me please?

Was told last Friday that the problem is with Motorola and waiting for an upgrade fro them. Verizon is not dealing openly with anybody that calls its tech support.

I have the exact same issue. I have spent too much time with tech? support and I have factory reset and changes sim card all per tech support and this thing is still not working. We spend a lot of money with Verizon I have 5 4g phones and I cant access 4g on mine so I know it's not an issue in the area.. I would just like some honesty.

I am having the exact same issue and changed the phone once but still having the issue and still looking for a solution

But I was told that there is a problem with Verizon's 4GLTE network and it is going on and off for almost a month
