Starting several months ago, we cannot make a call from our home that doesn't drop at least once. This happens with every call! It is also happening to other vzw customers in my neighborhood. I have called repeatedly to complain and talked with various levels of people. We have only one bar and I was told that it's no wonder calls drop. VZW has no answer as to why we had no calling problems until a couple of months ago or so. On June 25, I was assigned a repair ticket. Since then, they have elevated the repair ticket to the System Performance Group, whatever that is. On July 23, vzw told me I should hear something abou the status of the repair ticket within two weeks. Two weeks went by last Saturday and I have heard zilch. VZW's short term answer is to sell me a $250 network extender. My position is that I am already paying for good service, why should I have to pay more??
The only reason I haven't left vzw is my employer has an arrangement with vzw for discounts on the monthly bill and accessories. Despite the discounts, I'm about ready to switch.
