I recently updated a friends Droid Incredible 2 and now no matter what I do it will not send text messages unless they text me first. Any Suggestions?

Congratulations on your new device. I would suggest ensuring the device in programmed correctly, by dialing *228, send, listen and select option 1. Please advise if you are able to make/receive calls and if you can receive text messages? I look forward to hearing from you soon and I hope this information is helpful in the interim.
