I got the Razr the day it came out, but couldn't use it for the
first 2 weeks because I was out of the country.
Although now that I have been using it I have noticed that the
IM to Text is not working. I have gone into the store, they said it never
should have worked to begin with and I need an App. So I called customer
service and was told that it I need to use an App.. But I have never used an
App to receive IM's to my phone number as Texts..
I used to have a Droid X. I had a friend that will send me IM's
via his Windows Live Messenger. He sends them to my phone number, as texts, and
I reply. Everything worked great when I had my Droid X. But when I got the
Droid Razr, I can receive his messages and then I will reply like usual but he
doesn't receive them... He uses it to talk with other friends via text and they
receive the messages just fine. So I don’t think it has anything to do with
Windows Live Messenger.
Anyone have anything they can help with? I have searched all
over the phone and can't find any setting to disallow it..
