droid incredible 2 market not loading

Everytime i try to open the market i get a white screen for about a second and it goes back to the home screen. I dont understand. I have tried factory reset, battery pull, I tried updating market and then i uninstalled updates becuase that did not work. I have only had this phone for a few weeks whats wrong with it?

Have you tried clearing market data? Homescreen>menu>settings>applications>manage applications>all, scroll to and select market, touch clear cache, and clear data. Also, if the market is trying to auto-update, it will close on you like that, but that should only happen once.

isabella try this an see if this works Hit menu > setting > Applications > Manage applications scroll down to Market enter clear cache > Clear Data then force close. then hit you home button. and do this pull the back off of you inc. 2 an pull the battery dont shut off the inc with the button pull the battery an it will go off then with your battery out hold down the power for a few seconds an then re install battery an turn your inc. back on hit the Market Tab an accept the terms see if it will load. Let me know if it does. or not. B33

still no luck. I have tried everything. is there a way to uninstall it and reinstall it manually?

I had the same problem once before, if you go to settings > accounts & sync, you should have a Google acct. (not Gmail) listed and most likely yours has disappeared. The only way I could fix it was to do a factory reset on mine and wipe everything on the phone. Once I did that, the market was back and running like normal. Hope this helps!!

I agree with everyone else. If clearing the Market data using the previous steps don't work, the only other way to reset the Market would be by completing a factory reset. This will wipe all data on the phone, but will not erase anything on your SD card. Make sure your contacts are backed up. The factory reset is located in Settings>SD & Phone Storage>Factory Data Reset>Reset Phone (Do not check Erase SD card).
