My Rezound connects then disconnects the internet when I use it with a PC

I have the hotspot option on my Rezound and when I connect via USB to my PC the network status in Vista says "Local & Internet" then after a minute it changes to "Local only" and my PC loses connectivity to the internet. This is driving me nuts as I bought that feature so I can use Outlook on the road. Anyone have any advice on how to fix this???? THANKS!!

Did I mention it's driving me crazy???

Why are you using a usb cable to connect it to your computer if you have the mobile hotspot feature? Mobile "hotspot" indicates that it creates a wireless network within a range of 150-300 feet from your phone. Use your computer's WIFI to connect to it. If your computer isn't WIFI enabled by default, go purchase a USB WIFI adapter. It should cost you no more than $30.

I agree, I would change the password on the hotspot and allow only one connection and access the connection that way. I have yet to get a working connection while tethering with my device
