Sick of this problems with my Droid 2

I have been having problems with this phone since I got it but lately it has gotten worse. It randomly restarts, freezes during the middle of phone calls. It wont allow me to answer some phone calls and will also restart while I am on the phone. The b key on my qwerty keyboard sticks. My text messaging gets screwed up and when I am texting one person it will send the message to someone else. And also my contacts randomly switch whose name is with what phone number. Ill get voicemaisl from phone calls I never recieved. And sometimes I dont get the voicemail until hours after it was left. I am so sick of this phone. Anyone else having the same problems or can anyone help me figure out what to do. Thanks!

I have a lot of these same problems with my phone. I heard from so many people that Droids are amazing but this thing sucks and I'm finding by talking to more Droid users that no matter what model they have, it is problem after problem. I'm taking my phone into Verizon and seeing what can be done. I sure as hell don't want another one. I should have stuck with my BlackBerry Curve.

lol..sounds like you are not upset with verizon at all..sounds like you are upset with how manufactuers deal with warranty claims..

if you are having the same problems with the same phone..guess what? it might be something YOU are doing. Do a factory data reset, format your sd card, dont even put your gmail on the device.. use your phone for 3 days and see what happens..

YOU DONT PAY FOR PHONES, you pay for service. you don't pay 200 a month for a phone, you pay for that service. You already own the phone..

asuiran is an insurance provider has very little to do with verizon and every major carrier uses them..i think you have so misplaced anger

You don't have to be rude! And when I buy a phone through someone I expect it to work! I do NOT have misplaced anger. I have tried the factory reset... didnt do anything. Not to mention the fact that I have practically no apps on my phone, so it couldn't be that. Also I want you to tell how its my fault that the phone is having these problems! Any other phone I have ever had has never had any problems... and I there are alot of people who have the same issues with this phone as me. I have done nothing but take care of my phone and use it the way it is supposed to be used!

You need to be more respectful when you are talking to people!

Thanks to the community members for your input. Kdbell1989, Are you still experiencing the random restarts on your device? Are you aware of the new software update for the Droid 2? If you have not updated your device, I suggest doing the update to make sure your device has the current up to date software.
