Poor shipping

So around 5 pm on weds. 1/18/12 i ordered a droid 3. was told it were to come in on friday the 20th. well it is now the 21st. and after calling FedEx i as told i should expect it to come in either the 22nd or the 23rd. this being on the 2 day shipping order. Now i have finally decided i am no longer going to order online from verizon, as i am very displeased. I would put a review of the phone but i still do not have it.

The time you ordered the phone is telling. It might have been after the cutoff time for that day. So you order would have been processed on the next business day (January 19) and then a two day shipping would put you at the 23rd for the second business day in the shipping process.

Like with ANY company depending on time zone. 4pm is the cut off time for any shipping that day. All processing after that time will not be picked up from shipping companies until next day. You will get your package on Monday.

I am very used to this and no a lot of this... Living in Hawaii we have to know what time zone and what time it is there before ordering. Monday and Tuesday is always the best time to order and anytime prior to 10am our time(for those East Coast orders)
