Remove corporate contacts from phone

While setting up my wife's Bionic, I set her corp email account up fine, but didn't notice it included contacts and calendar, neither of which she wanted.

How do I delete the corporate contacts on the phone?

BTW... her regular phone contacts are backed up via Backup Assistant.

To the the account settings and turn off sync?

Settings > account & sync > select the corporate account and uncheck the sync optiins you don't want.

Thanks. I'd done that, but still have 6500 contacts she doesn't need?

I would be glad to help remove the corporate contacts from the Bionic. First please check that her correct contacts are synced with Backup Assistant. Go to www.verizonwireless.com/My Verizon Then back up my contacts.

Then you can use this option on the Bionic: Menu>

Go to Settings - Applications - Manage Applications. Then chose All at the top. Then scroll down to Contacts Storage - Clear Data.

If that doesn't remove the contacts you can:Go to Contacts. Then press Menu - Delete- Menu- select all. Then from the home screen: Menu - Settings - Accounts - Backup Assistant and Sync now will bring back her personal contacts

Based on advice from *611, I went into Contacts, Menu, Display, Corporate Sync and unselected each group which effectively hide them. (The alternative was to do a factory reset - ugh.)

Of course they are still in memory, so I'll try what you mentioned which should also free up the memory for the 6,000+ contacts.

The first method failed because the "Clear Data" was grayed out (maybe

because I had the groups all unselected.)

The second method wouldn't work because there was no "Delete" in the menu.
