Droid 4 deleting emails off server

I have set up my email accounts and they work fine except I can't keep the "Remove manually deleted emails from the server" to work. I check the box and click OK all the way out. It does not work and when I go back, I find the box unchecked again. I've looked over all the setting and all seems OK.

Any suggestions?

I would be glad to help with your email issue on your Droid 4. What type of email account are you having the issue with? Is it gmail, yahoo, or corporate email? If corporate or private, does the original email allow mobile devices to delete from the server?

How do you get emails on the device? Thru the mail box application or a third party application? Did you add the email under Menu>Settings> Accounts? Please delete the email and readd it on the device and retest.

Thanks for your reply. To start off with, I did a hard reset of phone and

could no longer connect to My Verizon. I called customer support and

eventually was advised that my phone was being replaced for both this and my

email problem.

If you would like more infor I suggest you view my records and if you need

further explanation for future reference, just let me know.

I am still having the problem with the replacement device. I have spoken with level 2 customer service at Motorola and after alot of time on the phone, still no answer.
