New Blackberry Storm release date?

Any idea when the new Blackberry Storm 2 is supposed to be released by Verizon? I've seen July and August 2009 dates online. Has anyone heard anything about this?

Reuters had an article last May saying Verizon had made the announcement during a webcast about both Tour(already released) and the Storm 2.

This is exactly what I want to know! Did you say Verizon already officially announced it?

A couple of interviews with Verizon's CEO and CFO have mentioned the Storm 2. Nothing solid for a release date at this point, but recently more and more leaked info on specs have come up. So when stuff starts to get leaked like this usually that means it's only months away from release. At this point I would say it should come out this winter. November/December-ish. This would make more sense because the original Storm was released before Thanksgiving 2008.

Probably right after the mass 5.0 OS rollout, Oct-Nov timeframe. Come on NMchileman rumours are the best part of owning a BB and wanting whats coming out next. :smileyvery-happy:

Well when a phone comes out in the state the Storm was in, it probably will take three itterations to get it right.
