How do I enable/disable data roaming?

You can prevent your phone from transmitting data over other carriers’ mobile networks, when you leave an area covered by your carrier’s networks. This is useful if you chose a cell plan that doesn’t include data roaming, to control expenses.

To enable/disable data roaming:

1. Press the Menu key from the Home Screen.
2. Touch Settings
3. Touch Wireless & Networks
4. Touch Mobile networks and then
5. • Uncheck the Data roaming check box to disable
   • Check the Data roaming check box to enable

Tip: With data roaming unchecked you can still transmit data with a Wi-Fi connection.
