What should I do - Razor vs Razor Maxx vs HTC Incredible 4g LTE

I can't wait much longer to get a new phone. Mine is over due for an upgrade and doesn't hold a battery charge for more than 1 hour...after two or three applications it powers off. I was waiting for the razor maxx to go on promotion like it did on leap day but with the razor at $99 does anyone know if the battery life between the maxx and the razor is worth the extra $$. Two family members have the Incredible 2 and love it...should I wait for the HTC Incredible 4g LTE....I've been told later this month but I can't go much longer.

From those 3, I would go with the MAXX if you're a heavy user...the battery on the MAXX is nearly double the power of the regular RAZR (3300mAh vs 1780mAh) and according to the specs, the MAXX has 500+ more minutes of potential usage. I believe the MAXX has removable storage as well, the RAZR doesn't so you would be stuck with 16GB and if you ever have to reset your device, you'll have to transfer all your music, photos and etc again opposed to just keeping it on a memory card. Between the battery life and restrictions of memory on the RAZR, I would say its worth the extra money.

Also, what I have learned during my many years with Verizon is when a phone drops in price, like the RAZR did, that means another phone from the same company is coming up (Motorola Fighter is the rumored device Ive heard about) so its a matter of time before the RAZR is obsolete (much like any current phone in about 2 months lol)

The Incredible 4G does look nice, and I will always side with HTC, but Verizon users have a history of experiencing bugs when a phone is first released...the MAXX and RAZR are much more proven and are pass the bug stages at this point in time.

I think this is a no-brainer: The MAXX crushes the standard RAZR, based solely on the battery life.

Unless you can't afford it, get the MAXX.

HOWEVER, I am in the same boat as you, and I would get a MAXX today to replace my long in the tooth Incredible (1), except that the Motorola "Fighter" is rumored to be close to release, and this is believed to be the MAXX that fixes the two Achilles heels of the current model: higher resolution screen and a very good quality camera. So I'm impatiently biding my time...

When the Fighter comes out, the MAXX will probably drop at least $100, so you might want to wait even if you want the MAXX.

I agree, the Maxx is the better choice. I get 2 - 3 days usage on a single charge. The phone is proven, competent and will have ICS soon. I really don't miss charging my phone a couple of times a day.

well since the question is a month old, i'm guessing you already got something. however, if not, then the galaxy SIII is also going to hit verizon soon, and that's probably what i would go with.
