Can not exit emergency call mode

My phone seems to be stuck in emergency call mode. How do I get out of it. Turning off and on does not work Thanks

But did you Try a Soft Reset! This is Different than just shutting it off..

A soft reset is the most useful tool for resolving a variety of issues. In most cases, a soft reset will not affect data on the device, unless the battery is very low.

Press and hold volume down key then press and hold the power button until the device powers off then release.

Thanks. It was a user error. even though it was asking for a ph number, it just wanted my pin to unlock. A DUH moment. Thanks
