Hi, Im considering buy my friends old LG ally off of him. However, Im only going to buy it if it is capable of being put on this $50 prepaid no contract unlimited deal. Anybody know?
It looks like that plan is only for basic phones and on the LG site, the Ally is listed as a smartphone, so I'm going to guess the answer is no.
Please don't settle on that answer as correct though. Your best bet is to check with Verizon because they may rate the Ally differently, or maybe something has changed in the plan recently. If you have a Verizon store nearby, they can tell you for sure and if not, they may have another plan that will work for you.

I believe Pat3332 is correct. It is unlimited Web which is different than unlimited data. And unlimited web is for basic/feature phones only
