Family Locator app -will it show up as running?

I a, giving my teen an iPhone and want to install the Family Locator on it but don't want him seeing that the app is running. How do I do that? If he is aware he might shut in down and how would I know?

Also does this thing actually would as well as they say it does?

I am not sure if it works on iPhones or smartphones. If you know his apple you can do find iPhone on the computer or on another iPhone and see where he is on his iPhone if he has location services turned on as well as find iPhone. You have to set that up online for the locator app that your talking about it is 9.99 a phone I thInk. I assume he needs location services on no matter which you choose.

Hello KingRay! Gina is correct. The iPhone is not capable of being tracked (or as a Locatee) on Family Locator. If that is an essential for your daughter's phone, I recommend a different application or a different phone for your her.

if the family all have i phone 4s, could i track the other two phones with family locator program? would they be aware of it? if not,, what other program or app would i look at? Thanks
