Looks like 4G is out (again) in our neck of the woods. However, this time it didn't drop to 3G or even 1X as it did last time. No internet, no Market. Sort of upsetting.
mortb,
If it's not too much trouble, it can be helpful if you mention in general, what your neck of the woods is. That way, if others pipe up, it can give you an idea if it's an outage, or some other problem and also helps others who are experiencing the same thing. Sometimes, mine will do that for a while if they are just working on the network. Around her, (Oklahoma City) It usually seems to happen around midnight, or the early morning hours. Unfortunately, that's when I work, so although I know they are trying to inconvenience as few people as possible, it's still a pain.
Mine seems to be working okay at the moment.
I have 4G LTE network working here in eastern Nebraska. A little bit slower than usual especially for the pre-dawn hour.
Sorry about that. It's the greater Kansas City area where we seem to be having a blackout on 4g (and everything lower). It could also be just my phone. My Droid X has 3G, but my LG Spectrum has nothing. Going to try a battery pull and see if that helps.
I'm not sure what the weather is doing in your area, but we have severe thunderstorms on the way and that always seems to affect my connection also. Maybe it doesn't have anything to do with it, but I sure seem to have a lot more trouble with my network connection when it's storming.
I guess this is a mia culpa time. Since my Droid X was receiving 3G I was wondering that maybe it was just my LG Spectrum. I pulled the battery and waited about a minute. Put the battery back in and rebooted. I now have 4G. Talking about pulling batteries, anyone know an easy way of removing the hard sleeve from the phone? There is no flexibility in those hard cases.
Im in milwaukee and I have no service what so ever. I just changed my number about an hour ago I dont know if that affected it or not.
No problem mort. Glad you got it working. Just keep an eye on it because when I do a battery pull, sometimes it fixes the problem, and sometimes it just seems to help temporarily. I usually pull the SIM card at the same time, just to cover the bases.
I don't know about the LG phones. The back on my Thunderbolt was hard enough to get off that I use to put a penny in the slot on the battery cover and twist it to pop the cover off, but the Rezound seems to pop open a lot easier. That's about the only thing a penny is good for any more.
