I just got the droid 3. all of a sudden my screen lock is missing  the only way its there if i make a patteren if the patteren isnt there then theres no screen lock. how can i get my screen lock back without doing a factory reset.. i also havent downloaded apps the only apps i have downloaded so far is facebook and the weather channel

Good morning kimmi1973. Have you tried a battery pull on your phone? What was the results after the battery pull? If that doesn't work then the next step would be a hard reset. Prior to doing a hard reset, I encourage to verify that all of your personal information is backed up on the device.
