just so people know, what phones have an unlocked gps? no hacks please
Blackberry's do. Specifically the 8830, 8330, 8130 and 9630. Don't know about the Storm.
FYI MOST phones on VZW are locked, except world phones, since VZW was sued in a class action suite over this and LOST... WOOT!
Anyway, some phones like the Storm you can install a NON VZW OS, which is from what I heard are MUCH better then the buggy VZW OS which will have the gps unlocked. Not all smart phones and BB can have a hybrid OS uploaded.
Also, the true acid test is to use something like Google maps or whatever and look at your location accuracy. If it is a few meters then it is unlocked, if it is anything in the double, triple or quadruple digits, then no it is not unlocked
