Problems with Texting and Menu Lights

Found 2 problems with Razr, one is the menu buttons on bottom dont stay lit unless it is dark in room or you cover light sensor that is no good and other is when using speech if it makes mistake and especially on last word when you back space it erases everything you wrote, never had that problem on Revolution or Fascinate. Any thoughts to these problems? Thanks

I don't know of a way to change the "problem" of the buttons not being lit when it's not dark. That's designed to not chew up battery life unnecessarily.

As far as the back space erasing everything you wrote, which app are you using? I have Swiftkey X keyboard and when I backspace it doesn't delete everything.

I am using Go sms Pro because stock App wanted to reply to groups. The deleting whole sentence only happens when using the voice to text which has always worked on other phones

I also use Go SMS Pro so I switched my keyboard back to stock and was able to replicate your problem. What you need to do is, after it inserts your dictation, hit the space bar. Then the line under everything you said will disappear and using the backspace key will not affect the whole sentence. I think that is meant to be a feature in case you want to delete it all easily. But if you hit the space bar and the line under all the words go away, the backspace will work as you are desiring.
