Samsung Stratosphere Desk Cradle problem

I've noticed over the past few days that the Desk Cradle app will randomly open itself. No biggie, right? Just hit exit and keep going about my business? Not so much. Everytime I hit the Home key it reopens the Desk Cradle app. I have to go into Task Manager or Running Services and force close it. I thought the problem was tied to an app I d/l'ed, so I deleted everything I have d/l'ed since the problem started to no avail.

Anyone have any ideas on why this is happening or how to stop it from occuring?

I've seen similar (maybe) issues attributed to having a case with a magnet in it. OTOH, there's a list under "More Like This" just to the right here that has several possibly related threads.
