Samsung Stratesphere internet problems

Hello,

I've had my Samsung Strat for approximately 3 months and in the last week I have started to experience bad network issues. It was always spotty but it has gotten a lot worse. It goes from 3g to 4g (or vice versa) then drops connection constantly and I can never get anywhere. I've searched the internet regarding this issue and I see there are a TON of people having the same issues. There is an obvious problem with the technology and my question is, will there be some sort of update to fix these issues? I paid my money for this phone and this issue is extremely frustrating and quite painful at times.

Does anyone else have these issues and know how to fix them? Thanks!

Also, I just signed up for this forum. Why does it have my full name posted and not my screen name? I can't find where to change this. Verizon's websites are also horrible!

Don't have an answer for your real question, but your full name is only shown when you are signed in. I only see your screen name, loriloo. It's a "feature" of the new forum format and kind of weirded me out at first as well. If you go into the edit profile and privacy section, you can change this, for example, to allow your connections to view your full name if you would like and there is an option to view your posts as others see it.
