I assume everyone is having the same issue with 4G being out again. I was fine all day today until about 2 hours ago. I really hope they fix this ASAP. I have no service what so ever and it's not making me happy.
Mine is still fine and has been for the time that I have had the data connection on with my Nexus.
Have you tried rebooting the phone or toggled airplane mode or switch to CDMA 3G only?
Ann, it's the area. Mine was out for about 20 or so minutes. Luckily, I wasn't downloading anything or surfing the net at the time. MichelleOtis, 4G has nothing whatsoever to do with using the cell phone as a (gasp!) cell phone, to make telephone calls or receive calls. It only functions as a data receiver/sender, for example, surfing the net. It also interferes with texting, slowing it down.
Then it wasn't "Everyone" as the OP assumed.
I still can't use my phone. It tells me I have (no service) Airplane mode still on. I rebooted. Can't dial out, text or nothing. I think a trip to Verizon tomorrow morning is in order. Thanks for the feedback all.
Michelle, just trying to clarify since I'm a little confused. You said your 4G was out, then said you had no service. You also said Airplane mode is still on which means you won't have any service. Is only your 4G out, or is your data and cell service out? Any of your 5 bars on, or just an X? Does anything change with Airplane mode off?
I'm in Oklahoma City and just lost 4G. Still have 3G fortunately.
