Motorola Bionic. How do I setup a Wi-Fi connection using static I/P?

Hello,

My wife has a new Motorola Bionic. Our home network uses static I/P addresses. I can connect to our network, but the phone is expecting an I/P address via DHCP. How do I tell the phone to always use a static I/P setting for this particular network?

You can set up a static IP address under the advanced settings.

Settings > wireless & networks > wireless settings > menu button > advanced
