Why can't my LG Env Touch read the Micro SD card?

I just got the EnV Touch yesterday. I had put all of my pictures from my old phone onto a Micro SD card. But the Touch apparently can't read the card. I really need to find a way to view the pictures from the card on my phone Help?

And I also can't "format" the card since I don't know the code.

The default code is going to be "0000" or the last four of your phone number. But you don't want to format the card with the pictures on there because formatting will erase everything. You'd want to save the pictures on a PC first, format the card then place the pictures into your my_pictures folder on the newly formatted card.
