I bought 2 Droid Bionics right on 9/8/11 hoping to finally obtain and use a great smartphone. However, it was evident during the fist week that I was having the same problems that everyone else is having contained in this discussion group (keyboard issue's, phone shutting down, etc). Therefore, I went back to my local Verizon store to exchange the phone so I could get a completely different smartphone. Well, they talked me into waiting for the "software upgrade." They assured me that everything would be fixed after this upgrade, Needless to say, I still have my Bionic and it still has the EXACT same problems that it had the first week I bought it and it ticks me off everyday. Thanks Verizon for making keep a subpar smartphone. What makes me sick, is that I have a family plan and I am paying the outrageous price for multiple data packages with a crappy phone. My stepson's phone has the same issues as well. I was totally ripped off by the customer service reps and still am getting ripped off by the outrageous bills that I receive. I can't even downgrade my plan because it would even cost me more money. Thanks again Verizon. After years of sticking with Verizon, I will probably dump them all together after my contract ends. Signed, very unhappy!
