I will NEVER buy another droid of any type again

go straight to an I Phone. I'm about ready for my third one and that ini it's self was a royal pain. Went through THREE CSR's and a tech and they ALL wanted me to go through the trouble shooting even AFTER I had told them I had done it two other times.

Once my contract is up I'm outta here

What problems are you having. Without knowing what is wrong, it will be hard to assist you.

I am really sorry you feel that way. I have had a Droid Eris and my son has had one of the original Droids almost since the day they came out.

Except for being at the end of my contract and about the end of life for the phone.. LOL I have not had much of any trouble. My son and I both have had to exchange our phones due to screen problems. The touch screen started really acting up. If you could relay your problems, maybe some here can help you.

I realize I'm more or less just pissin' in the wind and not6hing will happen but here's my story. My 2nd Android from Verizon had been freezing, pulling up web sites without me even touchi9ng it. I would press and Icon and it would shut down or doing nothing. So after a few months of this I decided to call Verizon....................... AGAIN. Thuis is my sewcond phone. I had gone all through the trouble shooting procedure TWICE before. I had spoken with THREE CSR's and one in tech support. THEY ALL WANTED ME TO GO THRU IT AGAIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!.

Ok . Now I have recieved the second phone and there is NO return lable so now if I dont have it back with 5 days I get billed 500.00 for the phone.
I am NOT out for anything but for all the headaches y6ou have caused me I feel I should have SOMETHING to show for it.

you have to understand (and this is coming FROM a CSR although not for Verizon) that if they just took everyone word at face value people would be pulling fast ones on them all day. just because you TELL them you did verything doesnt mean they dont have to do it with you.

if they just believed everything everybody told them they would send phones left and right without proving it was done. thats just bad business sense. so dont take it personally, they just have to have it documented that they did it, thats all.

I'm sorry for the frustration this situation has caused. Have we sent a return label to you? If not, I can help with that just let me know. Since you may see that charge appear on an upcoming statement, I want you to know that if returned within 90 days of date of delivery, the equipment charge is reversed. I always appreciate when a customer is knowledgeable and takes the time to perform troubleshooting on their own, however the manufacturers to require certain troubleshooting steps be taken when applicable. I would love to make sure your concerns are address and would hate to see you leave your services with us. I can not say I have been through the trouble shooting procedure ( erasing the phones memory ) and starting over WITHOUT actually going thru it with tech support. EACH time I go thru it is noted in the WIP comments in my acct.. I finally got hold of someone in the main Verizon office and was told I should have never had to go thru the trouble shooting process a 2nd time let alone a third. There are SOME people at Verizon that can make things go smoothly and simple. but there are MORE that take the more difficult route.

After going thru MANY managers and staff and many calls with CSR's and supervisors and even Justin in the main office. ONE lady fixed my problem in about 15 minutes Now I dont know if the business customer service people are smarter or just have more authority but she fixed in 15 minutes what other people couldn't do in THREE days. From here on out if I have any issues I will by pass residential customer service and go direct to business customer service. They obviously have what it takes to get things done

Kimberly in Verizon business customer service did in 15 minutes what SIX people couldn't do in several days..I dont expect to have any more problems but if I sholuld I will do whatever it takes to get up with Kimberly in business customer service..

If I was Kimberly's boss I would put her in charge of customer sevice nation wide but then again. I'm MORE than sure Kimberly's boss is VERY glad he has her as a co-worker and depends on her for the great job she does

Got a completely different phone. After ALL the headaches I went thru that was all that needed to be done but only Kimberly was able to do it. Several tried but couldn't get it approved. Kimberly " just did it " and it's the best phone I have had. You couldn't PAY me to ever get a droid or a motorola product again. I have the Samsung Stratosphere and it is MUCH better than the Droid. I also glad I didnt get an I Phone. Just found out today if you have issues with that you dont call Verizon. You have to deal with Apple

Hate to break it to ya, but the Strat is an Android. And also you can deal with VZW with an iPhone, or Apple

So Kimberly caved and gave you another phone. Way to go. Circumvent troubleshooting and whine and get a replacement.

THAT'S how to do it. Drive up costs for everyone.
