HTC Rezound updated overnight now can not send or receive calls but...

I can send and receive text messages, a message saying I have new voicemail pops up, and the 4G works fine.

The notification bar shows one bar as my signal to where yesterday it was a full 4 bars in my house but whenever I try to place a call it says call dropped.

My phone did an update this morning about 3:30am est.

the update name is ADR6425LVW_2.01.605.11-1.02.605.6

I've taken out the battery and everything. I can't call customer support since it's my only phone line. anyone with advice?

Hate to say it but maybe a factory reset. It is a Pain, but I do it when I receive large updates. Just be sure to having everything saved and backed up.

As for the signal bar, I would not be too concern unless the signal has dropped. You can see the signal strength by going

MENU>SETTINGS>ABOUT PHONE>NETWORK

Let us know what it is.

I have an app on my phone called LTE switch... for some reason it switched my connection as WCDMA preferred only. I was getting everything but calls...I clicked it to "CDMA + LTE/EvDo" auto and it works perfectly fine. I don't know how or why that happen after the update though. That may be something to look into
