How do I reset factory defaults on a used incredible 2? It has all the apps and email information from the past user.

Thank you. I figured that would happen so I created a gmail acct. and checked to see that all the contacts are saved at verizon. There is nothing else that is necessary at this point. all the apps. that I want will be added individually. do you think this is OK now. If so, how do I reset?

this is from the link in my first reply:

Preferred Method

From a home screen, select the applications tab (located in the lower left).
Select Settings.
Select SD & phone storage.
Select Factory data reset.
Select Reset phone.
Select Erase Everything.
Perform Initial Activation / Setup.

it won't erase the sd card so as long as you have everything there that you want to keep (music, pictures, etc) then you're good to go.
