I need some help my market icon isn't on my screen anymore and I am not sure how to put it back. Any idea???
A couple of questions for clarification:
Are you looking for the Android Market Place icon? That was replaced a couple of months ago by the Google Play Store -- same thing, just renamed. Check and see if that icon (white shopping bag with a multicolored triangle on it) is present.
Secondly, where are you looking for it, on the Home screen or in Applications? If the Play Store icon is missing from the Home screen but present in the Applications, all you have to do is press on it and hold down, and it will automatically be copied to the Home screen.
The Android Market name was recently changed to Google Play Store. Play Store has a different icon. It looks like a shopping bag with a tilted colored triangle in it. If you don't see this icon on your home screen, long press on the place you want it to be. This will open a menu. Do this next--shortcuts>applications>scroll down the app list until you find Play Store and click on it. This should place the Play Store icon on your home screen where you want it.
