Is anyone else having problems calling AT&T customers this weekend?

Every time I have tried to call AT&T customers this weekend, this is the message I receive: "All circuits are currently busy, please try your call again later."  I spoke to other Verizon customers in my area and they are having the same problem this weekend... what is going on?  We are in the St. Louis metro-East area... Is it a problem with Verizon or with AT&T??

I know a friend of mine (on AT&T) is having trouble with her data connections this weekend, but they are in the east coast. 

Are AT&T customers in the same area/city as you?  Can you try a landline to call them?  It might at least narrow down where the breakdown is happening.
